Undoubtedly, the best known place in St. Boleslav is St. Wenceslas basilica, where prince Wenceslas was probably murdered in 929. The most characteristic sign in the St. Mary´s Square is the cathedral of "Nanebevzeti Panny Marie", built at the beginning of the 17th. Century. In 1680 to called "Saint Path" was built from Prague to Boleslav - a chain of small chapels.

In the Masaryk´s Square in Brandys, in so called Arnoldian Mansion, which houses the regional museum of Prague - East, there is placed the exhibition called "The Brandys' Region in the Changes of Time".
